No More Worries With Formating Your Books

Well, it is another wonderful day in the land of reading and knowledge. I should have posted a blog entry yesterday, but my poor daughter was away at Panama City Beach for her spring break. She was having such a lousy time I had to go get her. Not wanting to a 'Sally stick in the mud' and ask her friends  to cut their vacation short so, Mom got stuck with going to pick her up.
The drive wasn't bad going to get her, a friend accompany me. Coming back was a lot of fun, we were  able to stop and have lunch at a really cool Cajun restaurant...can I say good food.
Today, I am bringing you this awesome tool I found. It is going to make your life much easier if you are writing books. I wish I had found this sooner, my life would have been a lot easier. I happen to be browsing a couple of marketing sites on effective marketing strategies for my romance novels, when I came across this lovely site called DIY BOOK FORMATS
. They have taken the headache out of formatting and given templates to get it done on your own with much ease.
You as a writer, knows the difficulty it is to format a book, Sure you can do it in WORD, but that is the very basic and not to forget boring. Getting it done by a profession can cost an arm and a leg. So, I am happy to share with you, my friends. No more frustration from trying to get your book formatted. I hope you will share this with someone and send someone over to this site... I would appreciate it.

You Need To Take Your Books To The Readers

Becoming a self publisher is in many case a choice that is made however, in other cases that is the only option. Self publishing has given so many people a voice that can transcend to places they never dream of. It has opened up avenues of opportunities and streams income never dreamed of. It is a splendor to have self publishing available to everyone, but it is important to remember selling those eBooks is another ball game all together.

Writing a novel is a great accomplishment, but if no one is reading it, then it was written just for you. There has to be a marketing plan in place to get the books in front of the readers. In no way shape or form are readers going to know you in the thousands of books being published monthly. Your goal is to stand out, be visually appealing to the readers.

There have been authors that gain great popularity, not because they are great writers, but because the are brilliant in marketing themselves. They have learned the art of self promotion and bringing readers to their books. Do not wait until readers find your books, take them to where they are. Writing a successful novel or story is when someone is reading it.

Figure out where your strength lies. If it is Face Book, go at it with all the knowledge out in the web world of marketing on that social media site. Do the same with Twitter and not to forget to use your hashtags. LinkIned and Pinterest are now holding their own as social media that is worth being a part of. Use these places to your advantage. This is by no way an easy feat, however it is possible.
